You don't need us to educate families about the business and financial issues ahead. You already do that. You do their estate planning. You facilitate their succession planning. Our contribution comes when that work is blocked; your clients are in family conflict, or paralyzed by fear of conflict. Or the family's ability to work together depends on one or more members getting psychological help--you need assessment and referrals to appropriate educational or clinical resources.
Nearly all the examples on the Work page describe our collaboration with other advisors. Sometimes Ken plays just a brief, specific role (facilitating one meeting, for example; or counseling one branch of a family). In other cases he has become a long term member of the advisory team. He may consult to advisory teams without working directly with their clients.

For psychologists who do therapy, consulting, or research on the psychosocial dynamics of family business, an annual conference: PDFB Conference.
Finally, the WEBLOG "Family Business Matters" is a separate site inviting you to dialogue (signed or anonymous, as you prefer) with other professional advisors and family business stakeholders.
